National Zoo, D.C.

I recently was very lucky to have two very elusive days-off from the hospital... one of them was spent in Washington D.C., wandering around the National Zoo...

it was a cool, cloudy day... there were screaming children and crazed parents everywhere... and it may have even rained on us a little bit...

but it was a good afternoon, all in all.

I was able to get some great shots with the new lens that I got for Christmas... here are a few of my favorites...
